CB is a bi-monthly regional youth magazine made available to educational and youth organisations interested in the Middle East. In the magazine, young journalists from the Middle East find a way to express their views on the conflict, share their thoughts and ideas and their happiness and fears concerning the conflict. The magazine offers a chance to bring fresh perspectives on the conflict and make their voices heard while contributing to peaceful transformation. The magazine focuses on issues of young people living in the region. Crossing Borders journalists are encouraged to write articles in which they share their personal and daily life experiences. This often shows the common aspects of their lives on each side of the conflict.
In contributing such personal essays, journalists learn to write from the "I" point-of-view in their articles. This is one of many skills participants cull from the Crossing Borders seminars throughout the year. The magazine can be used as material to help foster mutual understanding, tolerance, diversity, peace and co-operative coexistence in the Middle East.
